How to Adopt

Please read the dog’s description and location and consider if it is the right dog for you. If you’re interested in adopting a specific Affen, please fill out an Adoption application. Please complete a separate application for each dog you are interested in.
Adoption Fees:
Less than 3 years old $450
3 years to 9 years $400
Older than 9 years $300
This fee helps to offset the costs of basic preventative care including spaying and neutering, vaccines and heartworm tests, in addition to any extra medical care the dog may need. Often this adoption fee does not even cover the cost of basic medical care.
Adoptions require reference checks and a home visit.
After Adoption
We are here to help for the life of the dog. Please contact us with any questions or concerns at any time, regardless of how long it has been since you adopted! We are Affen lovers and experienced Affen owners and we’ve been through a lot! If you ever need suggestions or advice, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We also LOVE to get updates and photos of our adopted dogs. Nothing makes us happier than to hear of the adventures of our alumni!
