Bud had found a home!
UPDATE: August 17, 2019
For anyone interested in Bud to contact Kentuckiana Pug Rescue in Indianapolis https://www.kentuckianapugs.com/ He has been accepted into their rescue program and foster care as Francis, a possible Affenpinscher and Pug mix.
UPDATE August 24: He is staying with his current family in Kentucky. He is doing better in their home and they believe trying to transport him to a foster home that located far away ( they had hoped it would be closer) would not be good for him. He is adjusting and getting along better with their other dogs. So they are willing to have him live with them until his forever home can be found.
UPDATE August 21: Although we have had many people hoping someone would adopt or foster him, Bud is still looking for his forever home. He can’t stay with the family he is currently living with because there are just too many dogs for him to be happy. Please help us find a home for him!
Bud” was discovered at the SPCA in Cincinnati and rescued by an Affenpinscher lover. Unfortunately, the family has too many dogs and their family is not the right fit for him. His age is estimated between 7 and 8 years old and he weighs about 14 lbs. Bud doesn’t seem to like big dogs and although he gets along with most of smaller dogs in the family ; his current family believes he might be happier as an only dog. He is “people friendly” but seems to prefer women over men. The family he lives with now believes Bud might be best with someone who has time to give him lots of love and attention and likes to go on walks. He is neutered, current on all vaccinations, is heartworm negative and on heartworm preventative. He is currently living in Walton Kentucky and is looking for either a foster or forever home.
